Welcome to the Online Community Consultation for Larne Football Club. This Consultation relates to a proposal to redevelop the player, visitor and community facilities at Inver Park, Larne.
We are consulting with the local community to obtain initial views on the proposed development and hope this will help inform the design process prior the submission of the planning application later this year.
This Consultation can either be viewed online (from 21st August 2024 to 11th September 2024) or in person on 21st August 2024, at the venue detailed below:
About our Proposal
Site Location
The proposal relates to the lands at Inver Park, Inver Road, Larne.
About the site
The site includesthe existing main stand, social club, offices, carpark and other ancillary buildings within the southern half of Inver Park Stadium as illustrated in the aerial image of the site.
Part of this site was previously granted planning permission to replace this stand and also develop other facilities; this proposal now seeks to consolidate and update these previous planning permissions and enhance the facilities at Inver Park to bring it in line with the Clubs current requirements.
What’s Proposed
Larne Football Club are proposing to redevelop part of the current Stadium to replace the existing main stand and terrace to provide enhanced visitor and spectator facilities. Further details are provided below:
The glazed panels of the new stand include the VIP area, corporate boxes and the new bar and restaurant, all of which are designed to offer full views overlooking the pitch and above the seated terrace. This is intended to enhance the spectator experience.

What Happens Next?
At the end of this Consultation period the applicant, Larne Football Club, intends to submit this planning application to Mid and East Antrim Council. In the meantime we are keen to hear the views of the local community and are carrying out this Consultation to help inform the design process prior to submission of the planning application later this year.
